It’s in La Grave and nowhere else: you will find a new kind of chalet at the start of the Gondola. “ With the financial help of the Respect Program we are building a meeting point chalet where people will get daily information’s on the risks. The chalet will become a lighthouse.” Explains Jean-Pierre Sevrez, director of the gondola company. This location will be a great help for the freeriders and will become the head quarter of the “patrol trooper” which job is, since two season, to advice the customers before they buy their ski pass. The chalet will soon be equipped with computers to enable the riders to check the quality of the snow and which part of the mountain to avoid. Improving significantly the prevention is a shared goal by La Grave and the Respect Program.
